I am looking forward to having a restful day today. I love having Dominic home. He has been very helpful during the day. Nighttime is a different story though, as Philomena won't let him have any part in the nighttime routine. She still wants me to put her to bed and get up with her during the night. What is the deal with that? This can't go on for much longer. I need a break!
Last night we saw a movie in the theater. That's right! We haven't gone to a movie in a while, well, compared to how often we used to go. We saw "Knowing." It was pretty good and entertaining. Kind of weird but we seemed to like it. Especially since we got a deal on the ticket price. The girls in line in front of us asked the ticket worker if they could have the before six price of $4.50. He gave it to them. Of course we overheard this and my husband says to the guy, "If I smile at you will you give me the lower price too?" That's all it took! We only paid $9 total instead of the $9 each that it would have been. Pretty cool I must say! Plus my sister Marie had given us some money for watching my niece off and on. What a bonus! This is a picture of Philomena with her cousin on one of those babysitting days. They are getting really close!
Thanks Marie for babysitting last night!
Well, have a blessed and holy Tridium and Easter season. We are looking forward to celebrating with my husbands family here in town. It should be great. What are your plans?
